Ultrasound Forearm

 3,000

This test uses ultrasound to produce images of the main arteries in the arms. It is a safe and effective way to assess the blood flow, and can determine whether there are any narrowing’s or blockages in the arteries.

Doppler ultrasonography examines the blood flow in the major arteries and veins in the arms and legs with the use of ultrasound (high-frequency sound waves that echo off the body).

The test is done to help diagnose:

  • Arteriosclerosis of the arms or legs.
  • Blood clot (deep vein thrombosis)
  • Venous insufficiency.
